Why 1/4" (6mm)?
A standard 3–4mm mat can feel hard on wood or tile during roll-ups, bridges and kneeling work. At 1/4 in (6mm), this mat adds noticeable cushion while staying firm enough for balance and standing poses.

Is this mat good for Pilates?
Yes. The 1/4 in (6mm) cushioning is designed for mat Pilates: roll-ups, bridges, kneeling and side-lying work, where a thin mat can feel hard on the spine and knees.
Is 6mm too thick for balance poses?
For most home practice, no. 6mm is thicker than a standard 4mm mat for comfort, but still firm enough for standing and balance poses.
Will it slip on hardwood or tile?
The anti-slip texture is designed to grip smooth floors and keep your hands and feet planted. Make sure the floor is clean and dry for the best grip.
What size is it?
